Sedona, AZ
Read the video transcript: Sedona Donut Coffee Truck
Hello and welcome to Z food trucks. This is probably at least one of the coolest trucks that we have built ever. This is a donut truck for a company in uh Arizona. It is It's not wrapped yet because they're going to wrap it themselves. Goes from this side. Well, it used to be an Amazon delivery truck. We of course put our generator box inside and the generator box has a 12 kW commence generator shore power connection place where you fill water. That's actually the gray water tank that you see at the bottom and that's how you would drain the water. This is actually the business end of the truck. Literally idea is that there would be merchandise here at the bottom all the way around in donuts in these donut tracks inside. And here in this refrigerator, merchandiser refrigerator that you'll be able to access from the outside would be some drinks. This is you can actually see how thick it is. It's 3/4 inch plexiglass so it doesn't buckle or whatever. Now, um code requires that in Sedona the code requires that it cannot be opened. So, it has these uh openable shutters which are also made of plexiglass. Oh, I forgot to show you. There are light strips, LED light strips on the inside. RB door in the back. This is where you would keep uh donut, you know, pans that are being prepped, basically water heater. The floor is rubber. They wanted to be one single sheet of rubber that they can uh wash. Hand wash sink with splash guards. Towel dispenser, soap dispenser. that right there is a refrigerator generator box. Now you would see that this wall is not stainless. It's actually wood. See how craftsmanship of course you see be very proud of it. The how you flip from the generator power to the shore power. the transfer box as it's called as every piece of equipment has its own breaker. Notice how it's been painted white to match with the rest of the truck. We did the same thing with the cables as well. Now all the wiring is in conduits as always. It has a AC on top and three LED lights on the inside. 16T truck AC controls. These walls are all um steel, powder coated steel. Let's go for the shelf as well. There's actually a few custom shelves that we made on the outside as well. I'll show you that at the end of the tour right there. They of course pop right up and they'll stay for more um more merchandise, that kind of stuff. This awning can be closed for transit and there are these can get windy there. So these will keep it u nice and strong. That brings us to the tour of this beautiful doughut truck that we are shipping off to Arizona. Frequently Asked Questions

Answering your questions about our food Truck manufacturing services.

Chandler food trucks operate under Maricopa County Environmental Services’ Mobile Food Unit permit, plus a commissary agreement and Chandler city vending requirements. Once your truck rolls off our build line, we’ll walk you through the exact documentation, plan-review submission, and inspection checklist so you’re permit-ready on day one.

Yes. Every Chandler-bound build gets our desert-heat package: oversized HVAC, heat-rated generators, reflective roof and wall insulation, upgraded refrigeration capacity, and high-throughput ventilation. We size every component assuming a 115°F ambient — not a 75°F catalog spec — so your line holds temperature through August lunch rushes.

Absolutely. Chandler’s Price Corridor (Intel Ocotillo, Northrop, Microchip, Wells Fargo, PayPal, and surrounding campuses) is a high-volume corporate catering opportunity. We spec layouts for 200–500+ meal services: multi-line kitchens, fast service windows, high-capacity water and waste tanks, and power systems that can hold a 4-hour lunch rush without thermal throttle.

Yes. Arizona requires mobile food vendors to hold an Arizona Department of Revenue TPT license (and file in the cities where you vend — Chandler, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, etc. each have their own TPT code). We give every Chandler customer a plain-English walkthrough of AZDOR registration, city-code reporting, and the tax categories that apply to prepared-food sales.

Yes. We build festival-grade trucks with generator headroom for long service days, water capacity for 8–12 hour vending windows, and service-window flow tuned for heavy crowd throughput. Whether you’re vending at Ostrich Festival, Downtown Chandler Art Walk, Chandler Jazz Festival, or weekly farmers markets, your truck ships ready for the calendar.

Lead times typically run 10–16 weeks depending on configuration and supply availability. Every build is backed by our industry-best labor warranty, and we provide ongoing service and repair across the East Valley so you’re never stranded mid-season.
